1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are simple text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device by a website’s server. Each cookie is unique to your web browser. It will contain some anonymous information such as a unique identifier, website’s domain name, and some digits and numbers.
2. How We Use Cookies
Essential Cookies: These are necessary for the website to function (e.g., logging into your secure dashboard). Analytics Cookies: We use these to see how visitors move around the website (e.g., Google Analytics) to improve the user experience. Marketing Cookies: We use these to track visitors across websites. The intention is to display ads that are relevant and engaging for the individual user (e.g., Facebook Pixel).
3. Managing Cookies
If you want to restrict or block the cookies that are set by our website, you can do so through your browser setting. Alternatively, you can visit www.internetcookies.com, which contains comprehensive information on how to do this on a wide variety of browsers and devices.
Action Plan
Create the Pages: In your CMS (WordPress/Webflow/GHL), create these three pages. Fill in the Brackets: Replace [Your Support Email] and [Your Business Address] with real info. Link to Footer: Add "Privacy," "Terms," and "Cookies" to the bottom footer of your website. Why this matters now: You cannot get your Stripe account verified or your A2P SMS Registration approved without live links to a Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Getting these up today prevents a bottleneck next week.
